Another alumni of the London International School of Fashion, Heni Este-hijzen launched his Heni label in 2006. Heni favours a monochrome palette which gives his clothing an air of Gothic sophistication, ranging in style from structured designs that might have been taken form the Hitchcock movie, all wide shoulders and small waists, to fluid. Yet, even muted colour schemes have to be broken up occasionally and, that is where Heni’s jazz patterns come in, winning accolades of fashionistas in South Africa and abroad.
